Karen Hoffenkamp

I am a wife and a Mother of four. I am a US Navy Veteran and have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. I’ve wanted to be a surrogate for many years. Successfully having several of babies of my own, strengthened this desire. I loved being a Mom so much, I needed to at least try to help another be a parent.

In 2014 an amazing friend shared she was carrying a Surrobaby. I was intrigued and decided to take a very close look at gestational surrogacy. I felt an incredible calling. After the birth of my youngest daughter in late 2014 and with the blessing of my husband and family, I decided to start the process.

Since then I have delivered twins in June 2016, twins again in December 2017 and a singleton in August 2019. Of course, I originally planned to only have one surrogacy journey, but the smile and tears of joy at the first birth, expanded my passion for surrogacy for all the families it touched so positively.

Surrogacy has just been an extraordinary experience for me, my family, and the many friends and families of the parents receiving the joy of their own children through surrogacy. I am grateful to be able to now work in the surrogacy industry as a Senior Case Manager with International Surrogacy Center. I look forward to going on this journey with you.
